D.O.T Physicals
The D.O.T physicals exam is required of people who are in the process of driving commercial vehicles.
Q. Who needs the D.O.T physical?
- anyone operating a vehicle that carries 15 or more people
- being paid to drive a vehicle with more than 8 people
- driving with hazardous material that requires a placard
- driving a vehicle on the interstate with a gross combination weight rating
- gross vehicle weight rating
- gross combination weight of over 10,000 pounds

- tobacco, alcohol or illegal substance use
- failed drug test history
- any current symptoms
