UTIs are a common infection that can be caused by bacteria in the urinary tract. UTIs are more common in women than men and can be caused by sexual intercourse, pregnancy, or childbirth.

UTIs are caused by bacteria that enter the urinary tract and multiply there. The most common type of UTI is bladder infection or cystitis. Cystitis is an inflammation of the bladder lining that causes pain, burning sensation during urination, frequent urination and cloudy urine.

- drink plenty of water
- avoid drinks that irritate your bladder
